Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) is relatively new to the Western World but has been used in China to treat animals for thousands of years. TCVM is often viewed as a form of complementary therapy and is best when used in conjunction with Western Veterinary Medicine (WVM). Dr. Miller is a member of the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is working on her Masters in TCVM. She trained in acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Florida and will become a CVA (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist) in the spring of 2017.
